I have 1500w of panels, a 3000w inverter and eight 6v, 220ah golf cart batteries in series. The cabin is only used intermittently and so most of the time the batteries are at full charge with only a float voltage being generated by the panels. WebThis is a nice little system for any 48v golf cart. Other companies are charging more for less. Easy to install. I park mine in the sun for a few hours and I get up to 4.5A / 155W to the battery at peak (Florida) sun. That’s a decent charge rate for a single solar panel. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks but so far so good.
