WebJan 9, 2024 · UltraEdit can open any file of any size. A log file with more than 8 GiB can be opened on a PC with just 2 GiB RAM without any problem. UltraEdit should be just configured right as large file text editor before the large file is opened. But for viewing a log file a file manager with built-in file viewer like Total Commander is the better choice. WebSep 28, 2015 · Actually my file size is 423MB which should not be too big. I closed some programs like MS SQL Server Management Studio and re-open the file with Notepad++ and it worked. Hope closing some programs to free memory is helpful for you too.
