WebProblems with Microsoft Basic Display Adapter showing up instead of GPU. So feeling like a bit of an idiot writing this but cannot seem to find the fix to this issue, I'm running A Nvidia GPU (3090 ti), AMD Ryzen 9 5950x Cpu , Asus motherboard Crosshair VII extreme. WebTo see if you're using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, select the Start button, then in the search box next to Start, type dxdiag.exe. Choose dxdiag.exefrom the list of results and then on the Display tab under Device,look at the value for Name. If there's more than one Display tab, check all of them.
